Waiting for the Whoopers

With poor conditions this morning killing vis mig apart from a few Woodpigeons over >S early doors and a non birding tea time due to a wallpapering job at the daughters in Sowerby Bridge todays birding was a disaster.
A report from Gordon at Skipton this morning of another late Osprey, or the same bird hanging around ,plus more reports of Whoopers on the move, I, ve put together a few pics of previous years Whoopers in our area. March is the hot spot time for Whoopers staying on our waters on their journey back but we do get passing Swans October/November time so keep checking your local water as this time of year they rarely hang about.
