Back on Ogden skywatch

With conditions the same as yesterday, strong SW>5-6 and 9 deg temperatures after a morning of rain it was back to Ogden early evening to check for a continuation of yesterdays gull movement and still with Tern being the target bird even though it is a week or so early.
This evening was a different story altogether with absolutely nothing in the sky in the way of gulls or waders although passerines were livelier with 4 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffchaff , 1m Bullfinch and around 9 Chaffinch other than the usual Tits etc but all very mobile in the strong wind.
With just Mallards and Canadas on the water it will have to go down as a pleasant dog walk and wait for the megas another day.
Raggalds flood on the return journey held the usual 2 Redshank.
With my first local Swallows in previous years being :-
              2012............4/4
              2013.............9/4
              2014.............10/4
              2015.............8/4
              2016.............10/4
2017............. Yet to be recorded !
