NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

A reet poor do. Soil Hill/ Raggalds Flood

1600 hrs and a check on Raggalds Flood found nothing in the way of waders with just 3 Pied Wagtails, 3 Wheatear and 1pr Mallard present as well as a few Swallows over which  have suddenly become an every day sighting. With Yellow Wagtails on the move I,ll be keeping a regular check on the flood having ideal conditions for this species as long as it does,nt dry out completely. The last one seen there was 17/05/2013.
Soil Hill got the usual Ouzel, Plover check to no avail producing just the usual Skylarks, Mipits, 2f Reed Buntings, Oystercatchers, Curlews and Lapwings etc. An icy cold NW>5-6 didnt help.
