NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

New Year Washout

First birding session of the year found dark grey skies, heavy rain and sleet on a NNE>5 with a temp of 2 deg at Ogden.
A brisk check of the water which produced the usual small gulls and Mallards and with conditions worsening I aborted and headed back home by 0915 hrs.
Raggalds Flood held 8 Mallard whilst around 100 Lapwing were on the Pit Lane pitches along with a few small gulls.
