Ogden in the fog

A trip to Ogden at 1415 hrs in the hope that it was below the cloud base but the fog had just dropped prior to my arrival and it was now down to 10 yds visibility over the water. JL was just leaving and I thought of aborting but I was there now so may as well give it a go.
Teal sometimes snook under the Willows along the east shoreline so a walk on to passerine alley checking the fringes of the water.
Several Goldcrests were performing well through the alley giving close views but no chance of pics in the non existent light. I reverted to taking some with my phone which came out half decent but not fit for publication unless one would have been a Firecrest and then I,d have risked it.
A small skein of Canadas flew in low overhead and I heard them splash down on the water but lost from sight in the fog.
The drizzle then came in thick and fast and I thought, enough is enough, time I was out of here.
Roll on cold weather and visibility.
