Quick Ogden check

A late p.m. dash to Ogden to check the water found 13 Canadas at the north end along with an ad Gt Crested Grebe, possibly the Oxenhope/ Lower Laithe bird plus the usual Mallards with slightly increasing post breeding numbers.
Several are in eclipse and flightless at the moment.
The ad and juv Herons were on the east banking but gull numbers were poor due to the lateness of the hour with several already left for the roost.
Just 2 LBBs and 27 BH gulls remained.
Several Swallows feeding but no Swifts.
