Sunday, Bad start, poor finish but without the fog.

My 1st Wheatear Soil Hill at mega distance

                  Plenty Skylarks around

                                   The resident Soil Hill pair

A very poor session on the hill late afternoon yet again in the strong SW>5.
A 30 minute search found, 1 pr Oystercatchers, 11 Lapwing, 1 Wheatear which was way down at the bottom of Ring Ouzel clough and 2 Grey Partridge.
1 hour sky watching from the highest point scanning 360 deg produced  an embarrassing LBB gull and 3 corvids.
Oh well, theres always next weekend.
At least my swallow prediction came true, well done to Alan Taylor for his 6 swallows over Ringstone and a Common Scoter as a bonus bird.
