Super Whooper day

A stunning day after a grey start followed by wall to wall sunshine and clear blue skies with a definite rise in temperature.
My phone has been red hot today with reports of moving Whoopers.
First report came from IH, BOG, of 42 Whoopers over his Keighley garden heading >NNE up the Aire valley.
Secondly Angela and Gary text me saying they had just driven past Ringstone where there were at least 10 Whoopers on the water. No more reports from there today so could still be present or moved on in the good conditions.
Lastly a customer , dog walker, rang me from Ogden this afternoon reporting 15 Whoopers very high and >NW over the reservoir.
Although the Whooper move is pacing up the Pink Footed Goose March movement does,nt seem to be happening with what is usually the busy period for Pinkies is instead very quiet meaning the geese have already gone over the area or are yet to come in a late push?
Many thanks for all messages today, they,re greatly appreciated.

No time for birding at lunch time with a 4 monthly hospital check on Lynda which was an all clear and we were told we are now out of the worst 2 year worry time but still to have 4 monthly checks for the next 3 years.
Its been a long hard struggle for her and still is but she,s handled it marvellously .
