Ogden p.m. in the rain.

                  LBB in the rain
                                   Common gull
Unusual to get big gulls regular at Ogden

                         juv LBB
Mistle Thrushes moving through, Soil Hill

Soon be time to watch for Fieldfares.

An after work check on Ogden got me there just in time for heavy rain which lasted throughout and cleared up as I got home. Having said that conditions were ideal for movers with a good gull count of around 130 Black Headed and 21 Lesser Black Backed.
Just 2 ad Gt Crested Grebe on the water along with the usual species whilst Swallows filled the air along with 3 Swift..
Mistle Thrushes were on the move with 18 in the field by the Soil Hill top entrance and 5 Pied Wagtails were around the muck heap opposite.
