Roper Lane watch point

Wild skies to the west over Withens
                                                       Towards Ogden

                                   Stoodley Pike in the rain
                                         Zoomed in
                                              Full zoom
All quiet on the Bradshaw pond
                                         sun going down
                                    A troubled Soil Hill

Just 30 minutes spare this evening at the Roper Lane watch point viewing SW / W / NW in a gale force SSW>7 gusting 8 with heavy showers.
Surprisingly the sky was rather busy given the conditions with several early returning Black Headed gulls over.
Once again good conditions for Terns but none noted amongst the Black Headeds although very hard to focus in the howling wind.
