Leeshaw was absolutely alive this morning in perfect conditions, light N>3, clear blue skies and a heavy overnight frost.
One of those mornings where it was overwhelming trying to catch everything that moved as well as check the birds present.
The water has been lowered leaving a good shoreline which will be useful next month when the waders start moving, this morning it was packed with gulls and geese..
A good flock of Mipits were moving around whilst a Curlew was calling on the moor but kept over the ridge out of sight.
No Golden Plover back at Upper Marsh yet .
